The Old Milking Parlour is a private wing of beautiful Pollardscombe Farm. The cottage has two good size bedrooms and an open plan lounge and dining room for family and friends to relax and dine together. Outside is a sunny terrace area with views down the valley over the picturesque countryside surrounding the farm, offering a scenic base for a lovely holiday exploring the delightful South Hams, and is situated just a mile from the popular village of Slapton, with two great pubs and a village shop. Another mile on takes you to the 3 mile stretch of beach along Slapton line, and the nature reserve at Slapton ley. This pretty cottage is a great place for family and friends both two and four legged to enjoy their break. The local area offers lots to see and do, the nearby village of Slapton has a village shop, two good local pubs, a pop up tearoom in the church, and a nature reserve offering interesting and picturesque walks. The village of Torcross can be reached two miles further on along the beach, with more eateries. The bustling market town of Kingsbridge is twenty minutes; drive away with all amenities and a variety of shops to peruse, as does the historic town of Dartmouth, a thirty minute drive away. A day on Dartmoor offers spectacular scenery and walks as does the South West Coast Path. For those wanting a day of fun Woodlands leisure park has both indoor and outdoor activities. With much to experience in the area guests will want to return to The Old Milking Parlour again and again.
