The cottage has its own pontoon and a nearby slipway (boats by arrangement). With many beautiful local sites to visit and plenty of coastal footpaths to explore, the cottage is close to the Mountbatten Diving Centre and Marina which hosts international yachting competitions and caters for top class sailing and other activities such as fishing, Deep Blue diver training and diving trips in and around Plymouth. Plymouth City Centre approximately 4 miles away is easily accessible by car or via a regular bus service, or take a local ferry ride across to the famous Barbican centre for restaurants and unusual shops. Visit the historic Hoe, Smeaton’s Tower, the National Marine Aquarium and The Citadel and further into the heart of the City there are theatres, cinemas and shops galore, a haven for shopaholics.
