The South West Coast Path is accessed in Beesands, and theres; a gorgeous circular walk to Torcross and back over the cliffs. Salcombe can be reached by the foot ferry from East Portlemouth, or by road a little further past Kingsbridge, and bohemian Totnes is a hive of independent shops, and has a popular Christmas market along with good rail links.
