The millennium field at the top of the village is a fantastic viewpoint for gazing out over the village to Start Bay and the the lighthouse at Start Point. The village is situated less than a mile from Slapton Sands, which borders part of the scenic coastal road running between the bustling market town of Kingsbridge and the historic town of Dartmouth both twenty minutes away. The bohemian hub of Totnes is also a 30 minute drive as is the hugely popular sailing town of Salcombe. This traditional village is a superb spot to explore the South West Coast Path and all the delights the South Hams has to offer.
